F.A.Q.

1.         What can I do to help my child improve their reading grade?

To help your child improve their reading skills you can read to your child every day. You can also have your child read to you every day. However, your child must be reading at their instructional level. For example, if your child is reading at a 1st grade level then your child must be reading 1st grade books, not 3rd grade books. If you need help finding just right books for your child please contact me. I can help you find the appropriate leveled books for your child.

2. What if my child is out of uniform for the day?

If your child is out of uniform for a day please write a note to me so that your child does not receive detention. I will make sure that an administrator is aware of the situation. If your child does not come to school with a note it is assumed that you are unaware of the situation and that your child is simply not following the school rules. Therefore, your child will receive detention and will be asked to speak to the Dean of Students (Mrs. Burt).
